Champion Punter - Only for the elite(td)

50k entrance fee. 30k goes to the pool, 20k into a tote acc for the player to utilize hence prize money of 600k. (30k times 20 players)

This specific competition is clearly aimed at "high-rollers", in time to come there are plans to hold similar events with lesser buy-in amounts.

I'm NOT involved in marketing this competition.

If u play the 20k and win, do u get paid? Or is it only for record purposes to establish compo winner?

many years ago phumelela telebet had a comp where it cost 1500 per punter to enter of which 500 was for the prize money and 1000rand was put into a telebet acc ...it was over 4 weekends and each week you had to bet yr balance or half yr balance i cant remember all the details...however it was very well accepted and well run and it was held a few times ...why it stopped i dont know but i think something run on these lines would be far more popular than the 50k comp.....

That's why it proves nothing.What's the point of having it except to say I beat a few other punters.

20. At the end of play each punters closing balance will be transferred to their TAB account or via cheque.

Is this the response i deserve for making forumites aware that this is only the beginning, which happens to commence with the high rollers, and that Phumelela are considering staging smaller entrance fee competitions?
