Nothing to do with CHOCKERS tag !

The match was actually "LOST by South Africa" due to de Villier's DREADFUL decisions.
A.B. should have known ( from Pakistan strategy to play 4 spinners ); the pitch was NOT for quicks !
At least 2 cardinal sins ( errors ) committed by A.B. :
(1) AB should have batted at No. 4 thereby playing maximum overs himself and could have boosted SA total.
(A.B. should have known "Behardien is ordinary" and wont handle/counter the pressure situation).

(2) AB de Villiers should have gone for KILL when Pakistan was 76/7 by employing his spinners Botha and/or Duminy (at this stage spinners role was CONFIRMED )!

Nothing to do with CHOCKERS - just tactical errors ( by A.B. and/or S.A. think tanks )

Good luck to against Australia - For sure SA has the potential/tools to derail the juggernaut ! AGGRESSIVE CAPTAINCY is required !

yes lets just hope we turn up to play aggressive cricket against the aussies.if we must lose then at least go out swinging and giving it our best shot.im confident we hv the team to beat the aussies but we must play to our full potential as the aussies hv a very good t20 team.as for our capt imo he is 1 of the most naturally gifted batsman in the world and we are gonna need a big performance from him against the aussies.

Well, well, yesterday is yesterday ... AB will have to learn his job like we all must/had to, and today will be his biggest test as captain. It's going to be a HUGE match against Aus, our best of enemies. It's kicking off at midday, and I for one am praying there's no rain in Sri Lanka or any blerrie power cuts in E Cape to spoil my Sunday.

Forecast is for hot steamy weather with a chance of rain.

Steyn is apparently OK after that blow on the ankle ... just bruised. Otherwise we may get Tsotsobe in his place. However, it's a turners' wicket again, so scores may well be low according to what I've read.

Just 4 1/2 hours to starting time ... eeeee!!!

(on a light note I was mega-amused to hear in the recent England game, one of the Brit commentators say, "The key to stopping a batsman scoring is to remove him early". Talk about stating the obvious, duhhhh!)

Just 4 hours 20 minutes left now.

Without watching the Aussies bat yer this is an absymal performance, it appears as if the choker tag is deserved.
Levi and this Behardien are average better provincial cricketers around.

Well here's hoping the Aussies also bat kuk ...

i reckon we hv enough runs to win this game.its a real pity we hv so many passengers in our team and someone has to be held accountable for the team selection.our bowling is normally our strength so lets hope they can bail us out again.

Behardien's done OK today, better than Amla or Kallis. But what worries me is AB ... what's the matter with the guy? He is a superb batsman ... but not since he took on the captaincy and wicketkeeping both. The sooner they replace him for one or the other, the better for him and for the team as a whole. But who can they get?

Mav, this format of the game is just entertainment, I wouldn't worry too much about AB's form....:)
