.....thanx to Maggi ....or what ever you call yourself these days......a long post so I did not want to copy and quote......is just so sad that certain people that are gainfully employed use their employment for what they do best.....CRIME.....we get told that crime is a result of unemployment and poverty yet when people in the security industry(our cops included) help criminals for gain....it is a crying shame.....
also refering to the clip on Carte Blanche were security guards were filmed for torture of ZAMMA ZAMMA(ilegal miners) for not having enough bribe money....so sick we have to fear the very people that we pay to entrust our safety....:S

Cape Town - The incidence of rape and violence against women has reached "alarming proportions" Justice Minister Jeff Radebe said on Tuesday.

"We are moving... to combat this barbaric conduct by merciless perpetrators," he told MPs in the National Assembly, during a debate on last week's State-of-the-Nation address.

Radebe said it had been decided to re-establish sexual offences courts to complement the work of the SA Police Service sexual offences unit.

"We are in discussions with the judiciary to ensure that sexual offences cases are placed on prioritised rolls."

His department was also looking at strengthening the "legislative framework" around bail, admission of evidence, and the "sentencing of perpetrators of these heinous crimes".

Parliament stunned as full cost of Nkandla is revealed

The DA claims the state paid 260% more on President Jacob Zuma's private home in Nkandla than it did in securing a new prison in the Northern Cape.
On Thursday afternoon, Democratic Alliance MP Anchen Dreyer stunned the House when she revealed that R117-million was paid to provide security in Zuma's Nkandla home, compared to R45-million spent in securing the new jail in Kimberley.

The masses are made big promises of basics, but i think they are SLOWLY becoming wiser.

The story that i heard about houses being promised to the shack dwellers is scary! When a house is eventually given to them, the first thing they do is sell it and go straight back to the shacks. So all they actually want is the money and then their name goes back onto the list. So do they actually want to stay in the shack? It certainly looks like it.

I've never seen a poor shack dweller, DSTV, smartphone, levi jeans.... the lot!!!

I wanted to complain and winge, but will it help? Maybe with my frustration but suppose that is all
