I am also firmly in the Beach Beauty camp, have plenty of doubles and trebles already riding on her. My only concern is that if there is a slow pace she doesn't settle. She has a wonderful turn of foot and I feel she has improved over the past 6 months. Have had a full go on her.
Viva Maria is another I fancy strongly. She is a strong front runner and the mile will suit her better than the 1800. She stayed on well behind Beach Beauty in the Paddock Stakes and I recon if allowed to dictate will be a hard horse to catch.

Madji, what is the weight turn around between Beach B & Master Plan from the Greyville 1900 to the Met?

i expect plenty of upsets with lessor fancied runners from big stables winning as is the norm on big racedays.i have to agree with soodum on barbosa who i think is a very classy horse and should win on the day.as for the met i cant see jackson getting beat,in fact i think he will win it easy by at least 2or 3 lengths and prove his class to all the non-believers.in the derby capetown noir is as close to a racing certainty as you will ever get and i know many hv there doubts abt him staying, but i believe he will get the 2000m and doddle this race.

Hoping that Robert is wrong in race 4. I have backed Kono at 14/1 (28/2k) to beat Bold Var
He is seldom wrong though.

Dont have a clue TS.... have not yet looked at the card. The Greyville 1900 different track and too long ago ........... so not very relevant to me. As you know I have filled my quota of Master Plan. I am now busy with my Beach Beauty quota (tu) (tu)
Sorry, forgot to mention... I reckon Beach Beauty has improved and is at the pinnacle of her game, Jackson to my mind seems to have lost that fire in his eyes (but I will rewatch those last two runs) .... Master Plan still more room for improvement.
