Since the meeting is scheduled to be open to the public, why not those agitating for a Punters' Association also pitch?

Should be interesting... another Codesa?

Ou Ryperd.......I am sorry to bring this up............. cos I rather forgive and forget

No it's not your fault.
Your mates caused the problem and yes 19 years is not enough.
That stigma and hatred that your brothers have caused will take at least 50 years to eradicate.

OR we cant expect 19 years to fix what it took 100+ to break, the emotional and physical wounds inflicted by the atrocities that were committed by the old regime will take a long long time to heal, lets not forget that there are still many people today that lived through and were victims to the abuse, and we sadly must come to the realisation that any pay back attitude that we encounter is the price we have to pay for crimes committed by the powers that were, whether or not we agreed with it then or now, the truth of the matter is that the bitterness will not be gone in our life time something we need to accept and learn to live with...and where we can we need to try dilute the ill feelings with dialogue and understanding, finger pointing will only prolong an already long term healing process...

LS I dont want to turn this into a political debate but that attitude is exactly the attitude that you are saying the Grooms should not adopt, how can we still believe with a clear conscience that some folk are more equal than others and that they should not resort to the voertsjtek attitude but it is OK to respond to their actions with it??, when any of us walk into a supermarket the price tag remains the same ... we should first try walk a mile in their shoes before we judge their actions..the voertsjtek attitude never worked before and it sure as hell wont work in the future..
