In your dreams......US vs Tuks in final. Pukke was my 2nd choice, but have changed my mind.

Peekay, I see Hollywood have outright betting. Yesterday I had a nice bet at 14/1 on UJ to win. Looks very good value as IMO they will at least make the semi's so ther 14/1 in a 4 horse race will be hard to get. (tu)

Another beautiful day in Cape Town. Maties will be to good for NMMU in Stellenbosch tonight. Shimlas at home against a star-studded Tukkies team. This game can go either way, but I think Tuks will pull it off. Ikeys at home (hopefully the wind stays away) gave Tukkies a hard time last week and like to run the ball from everywhere, but I think UJ look a more settled and balance outfit and should win this one.

Some great games later, will be having a bet today. Shimlas look great value at 12/10 to beat Tukkies, the 4 point handicap looks to good to miss. They have shortened significantly since opening at 28/10 on sportingbet. Maties will be too slick for NMMU and Pukke should have Wits well under control in their encounter.
UCT vs UJ will be cracker and I am siding with the home side on the day. If they can cut out just 25% of the huge amount of unforced errors they are committing each game it will be very hard for UJ. Backing UCT on the spread anda outright win. Taking doubles with UCT and Shimals on both handicap and outright wins. About 8/1 for the win double. Quite windy at present in the cape and conditions might get worse tonight.
Best Bets:
UCT wink 2/1
Shimlas win- 12/10
UCT handicap +6.5

Shimlas are an improved side from last year onl ygoing down narrowly to Maties last week after whipping Wits 5/4 a great price IMO against a TUKS side that are not as strong as the were last year.
Maties will beat the Madiba's it is just a question of how far I think they will win by more than 24 but a bit of risk will leave this game as at 1/50 won't make much difference to all to comes.
Wits are back at home where they got a rude awakening from Shimlas, the did play better last week but I recon Pukke will roll them and I recon the -14 Pukke represents value.
UJ improved last week giving Pukke a good beating. UJ have a powerful tight 5 and make a note of the name Malcolm Marx at 18 the lad is an absolute monster. He has the potential to go all the way to the top. With powerhouses Wiseman Kamanga and Shane Kirkwood they will dominate the match and put Ikey's away. I am going to back UJ at -6.
My ATC this evening at just over 7/1:
Shimlas OR 5/4
Pukke (-14) 9/10
UJ (-6) 9/10

Good game of Rugby. Maties got a scare, poor reffing missing a Maties knock on leading to the scrum that secured the try. Great defense from both sides.
PeeKay, excellent win by UJ at IKeys winning 42-26. Not going to get 14/1 on them anymore. (tu)

Maties were outplayed in the 1st halve and I agree Shrek, got away with 'murder' in the 2nd halve. Bad ref. Well done to Tukkies and UJ. If Maties continue this type of play, I'm afraid that the final could be between Tuks & UJ.
