UJ had too much for UCT in the final quarter of the game, deserved the win on their second half performance. UCT gave away another interception try while UJ were really crisp in recycling and getting quick ball. UCT need to sort out their line-out, it is an absolute shambles with them having a less than 35% success rate on their own throw over the first three games. Yet they did quite well at scrum time even being awarded a penalty try after constantly shoving the UJ pack backwards on their own line. Too many forward passes and handling errors again cost them at least two glaring try scoring opportunities. UJ must be given a fair amount of credit as even though they were under pressure for large parts of the first 60 minutes they still went in level at the break and stayed in touch until the second strategy break. Their offloading game is brilliant and the quick ball they get resuluted in a deadly combo which saw them eating up the ground as they surged toward the line in the second period. The two wingers are absolute jetfire, the ball gets spread wide quickly and both claimed good scores on the night.
