As an owner you pay the fees every month, you pay the vet bills every month...horse is ready to win...no word of have a bet from the trainer..BUT the horse is backed from 33/1 to 8/1...what do you do?

PS and the horse wins by 6 lengths!

nothing....everyone else who deals with the horse have more inside knowledge than you...:S:( force him into the wrong race....and hope they lose enough to put them off....(I don't know...no-one does...but I do sympathise....) we all feel that we have a say...even us punters who have lost a bet or two....

I believe that some trainers are just a little worse at pretending it really is your horse!

oscar well done for your winner..when striker was announced to ride the horse the price was cut in half and believe me it take a few hundred rand to shorten a horse on interbet ...interbet has become the source from where the horses shorten from and it is and can be easily manipulated...33 to 1 to 8 to 1 sounds like huge money was wagered but believe me pal its actually very very little...horses shorten on interbet and therefore all through the country WHEN A BID IS PUT ON INTERBET and if they deny it they are lying...you can take 3000 to 300 tonight a 10 to 1 shot for scotsville tomorow and the price will shorten on interbet and therefore throughout the country...it is PATHETIC ....brian wild is a small trainer and a good man and he wouldnt play any games with top clients like you....unfortunately interbet has fcuked up the betting market in south africa by letting prices being deciminated from it ...its a fcuking disgrace as the betting public are having the wool pulled over their eyes....

Pirates, I think the bottom line is if you ask your trainer did you have a punt and he says no, you have to believe him. If you don't, you with the wrong trainer.

Agree with internet. It moves markets. That's why I always maintain pick your horses without looking at the betting.

I've just realized the race that you are referring too....no ways you would have gotten 33/1....not realistically...false pricing IMO....probably never offered...
