12 years 1 month ago
Piere Strydom is in the air as I write, on the final leg of his journey to Istanbul. He will ride in their Jockeys International tomorrow evening, wed 17th July. Herewith some details:-
Tellytrack will be covering the meeting from race 2 at 5.30pm.
The International races are races 4, 5, 6, 7.
Race 4 is off at 6.30 pm.

LOL Greg, but he was grumpy this morning, awaiting connecting flight. As it is, he isnt one who loves flying. As for the golf, now that he is a dad, not so much of it as before..... and to throw a cat amongst the pigeons, he even came and rode some work for us at Clairwood the other day.....:S

I really dont know of a BIGGGER (figuratively /literally ) FAN of strikers than Louis Goosen
I find it in really bad taste that he could NOTbe bothered to for go 19 hours without a fag to support Pierre in Turkey, after all once he landed in Istanbul he would have found 1000's of shops offering all flavours of tabaco and shisha pipes for him to smoke to his heats content.

i stopped 13 years ago when I used to wake up in the morning and the first thing i did was have a smoke. I used to cough brown fluid out of my mouth and yet still carried on. I could not even run 50 yards without been out of breath. My clothes, unbeknown to me at the time, stunk like stale bar smoke, my teeth got all yellow and not forgetting the money. I could not even taste food.
Since I stopped I can run 5 miles a day without so much as getting out of breath, my teeth are white again, I smell good and I can afford to buy nice things again.
Smoking will end your life prematurely and thats a fact.
