@Ben-Hur:

'Mandela is to be blamed for the situation we find ourselves in'

Encore! Total sell-out to his people; idolised by whom?

Which other leader, immediately taking office, set up a R50-million family trust with funding from his former 'enemies'? Which other liberation movement ended up with its 'cadres' holding massive shares in and positions in former 'enemy' corporate companies?

They groomed no leaders (sorry, they did in Malema!)!

Today, we know less about one another, are more suspicious, cynical and even racist than 'apartheid' days....true?

We minorities (Indian, Coloured/Khoisan, poor whites) are increasingly being disadvantaged.

Can your brilliant, aspiring child even think of applying for a bursary, leave alone entrance to some of these universities? Or, apply for a job qualified to do so? etc....

Unfortunately, most of us don't see how we all (including our children) are being sold down the line by some of our own people in pandering to transformation and being defensive of the elitist, super rich who would give a damn for us!

I was gonna post that here a few weeks ago and decided not too. P must really have a problem with space if people are waiting so long for stables.

@Ben-Hur:

'Fark these okes think we idiots.'

No, that is not right! There are many out there who are just as disillusioned, honest and capable....black, white and brown!

It is the cartel of a handful of so-called 'struggle cadres' within the ANC who bought themselves (and their comrades) into BEE and formed / supported groupings (think tanks like the former Broederbond), such as the Native Club, BMF, NCC, etc.

(Why can't we have an Indian, Coloured or white Club also? Heh! Heh! Lol!)

When I was on the Gambling Board, the appropriate candidate for the position of dep. CEO was an Indian with a two degrees (Accounting and Science). Many here would be surprised to know who was the Chairman of the HR deciding sub-committee of the Board at the time!

He was discarded as he was 'not the right shade of black' and the position given to a black with a degree in Agriculture who was the son-in-law of a prominent struggle stalwart!

We need collective efforts, education and the will to respect one another regardless of race, creed, colour or religion. Unfortunately, the current situation only inflames negative attitudes!

Hibernia would Deez's ongoing appointment at Teletrack have anything to do with the demographics of the province he practises in.

.....I don't think it's fair.....playing the race card that is.....then also it was not fair that a gentlemans agreement over stable timeshare was allowed to go on for so long.....there are rules... and maybe the PTB first turned a blind eye in the beginning ....but the fact is that boxes at Ranjies are highly sought after.... especially since the polytrack has been laid.....I'm sure other big string trainers would have jumped at an oppertunity to camp a 25 horse string in the heart of Gauteng to grab the off/and even in season spoils....just because the trainer is of a previously disadvantaged population group does not give him or his supporters the right to protest against the rules....they are not telling him to leave because he is of Indian decent.....they are telling him as a racehorse trainer who should be abiding by the rules and regulations set out in the conditions of having a training liscence.....also I feel for the other trainer that accomodated the action....he has blatantly made aware that he is not occupying highly sought after boxes....best someone send him some horses before he looses the boxes....::o
