Spongebob you say He contributes to both pools and stakes in the higher percentage as I already stated in my previous post.

?......so Spongebob......you are telling us that Kom and Candice have made a plan to rent stabling facilities near the Ranjiesfontein but now the PTB will not let him use the training tracks.......now he should make a big stink about it........cause that ain't fair......if this is true then he should really get legal over their arse's......let us forget that he is bringing money into pools.....he is providing a way for his owners to get a fair return on the horses that the industry has over supplied......to deny him or any other person from using facilities to generate money from training and running horses would be killing local horse racing....if this tiff is a swipe over racing jurisdiction it will be a war that would end horse racing......best that the little school boy tit for tat stops now and we can look forward to generate a healthy racing industry......(tu)

@Muhti:

From what I recall, Randjies was set up by Dr Podlas and late Parker-Bowles (I think) as a private facility that invited other trainers to use / rent it. It was subsequently 'sold' to Province since the trainers there 'wanted' such a facility.

Randjies was purchased with Provincial funds that belong to the people.

Maybe, Kom can get his legal heads to pursue that aspect and challenge not only the denial of access to the facility, but also its legality in the hands of P or anyone else.

Right now, the Protector is investigating (advanced stage) the previous ownership and subsequent disposal of Newmarket, Gosforth Park etc. There has already been a precedent where a public facility / property (a sports club / field belonging to Government) was 'converted' into a private ownership by 'members' at an AGM and then 'sold' to benefit the members only. That was revoked!

boys this is no need for politic for me is simple

randjes is own by the racing association. phumelela is rent it from them and they pay the silly money some thing like 100 rand a year it is no much. phumelela maintain the tracks and facility is part of deal. so what we have here is the TENANT who is make the rules in property he has no right to do so.

?.....FFS is all this crap necessary.....why not just let him or her rent stables where ever and they use the training tracks......it may not have been fair for them to sub-let for starters......but now he has an alternative and they the PTB are really trying to teach him a lesson for trying to challenge them......if this is how racing is to be run.....how does a new comer get in.......build your own stables racing track because they cannot and will not cater for trying to enrich local racing......the writing is on the wall......they will not stop until they drive it into the ground.....::o
