Craig Eudey Racing

I hope that our runners tomorrow have more luck than on Sunday where Sacred Spirit did a tendon very badly. We have the 2 runners in Peregrine King and he is in with an outside chance. He found the 1200m feature last time out a bit too short and will be more at home over this distance. I am Will actually ran very well last time out as the Appie rode exactly to instructions but the horse that normally goes to the front and he was going to track suddenly showed no pace and he was stuck behind it. He then got bowled when going for his run and still only got beaten 3.4 lengths. Don't leave him out of anything.

In the first race , Spiaggia looks a really good sort .

Doesn't Charles Laird usually have his first timer winners at Clairwood - does anyone have this stat ?

Would one of the forum handicappers straighten me out please:

How in earth can Garibondy (a 2yr old turned 3 ) go from a rating of 80 to 93 after winning a handicap(not under sufferance)

(I thought 8 points was max.............and coincidentally I rated the run at 88 anyway)

I think that Elusive Spirit's (another 3 yr old ) rating is also a bit harsh

Have I misunderstood ?
