Not sure that is a fair comment - would have thought she was definitely not tuned up 100% - and if one looks at the betting support for Wyllie Hall, he must have been 'more ready' - so imo COTT has (again?) proved that she is top class - also a great run by WH - so versatile (tu)

Also some good performances by Bouclette Top and Whistle Stop (hey Elvis we need to get John to negotiate a lease for the 2nd foal -), while in the last I was stunned by the victory of Glitter Alley - another reminder that at this stage of the season over ground, the 3 yr olds have to be better than average to upstage their 'more moderate' elders; finally I thought a very good win by Chekilli (tu) - and being by Greys Inn, always a chance that he may get more ground as well - also agree that Heart of a Lion has plenty to come (tu)

F no denying her brilliance. Just saying its not that easy for a filly in open company that's all. COTT has run all her races in the past against fillies of same age. Natal wasn't her normal brilliant self against the "best" fillies in SA.( Not disgraced though) Maybe she runs better at Turfontein . Only time will tell.

You can see the interest with better class horses, this was a big thread for the Joburg track
