Ground worries me a bit - I think he prefers it soft - would rather go places De Var Hyt and Midnight Serenade; already took the double Sabre Tooth and Whiteline Fever and then I think Siddarth in the 9th - even with Delpech on the other de Kock runner - our beloved Gap Year's first foal :

I think you are right. One the layoff is a slight concern but I guess class will prevail

Thanks - I see now that Delpech is not riding on the night - I wonder if this is significant, especially as far as the de Kock runners are concerned :S

Ive always believe COTT is the best horse in the country, and will be unbeatable in Turffies. Now that the time has come, here I am second guessing myself.. Im gonna have a pint, maybe a vision will flash before my eyes...

Race 5, Progress 3yo girls; at the current price of 12/1 for #8 SWEETWATER you get an easy and impressive winner only time out, downed a subsequent winner, trainer is hot, runs fresh, a Judpot, her MR could be way more; ask for at least 18's and dont be breaking the bank.
Race 6, Progress 3yo boys; #6 UMGIYO; together with Willow Magic best weighted, impressive in 1st start and also downed a subsequent winner, de Kock trained, runs fresh, again MR could be way more, a Danehill Dancer; ask for 11/2.
Race 7, Pinnacle; #2 VALBERG; still well weighted (not the best), has some excuses for losing its way, beaten favourite last time, runs fresh; current price 11/2 ask for 17/2.
Race 8, Pinnacle; #9 CHERRY ON THE TOP; even 1400m, nap
prosperous punting

I like Secret Traveller in the 4th, only concern (though it is quite a big one!) is the outside draw, particularly as he has gone from the 1 box in his last two starts. Would obviously also like to know who is taking the ride. Added Whiteline Fever in the 8th (who, in addition to what others have said, has won his last two when returning from a rest, both with Danielson aboard. COTT the obvious danger) and to make up the patent, I've gone for Pej in the 5th with Surefire having franked the form. For larger accies added Henry Of York who has looked to me to be improving each time and gets a much improved draw this time (Siddarth feared) from the night's penultimate race and Crown of Roses from the opener (the Lucky newcomer concerns me a little). One or two complete idiots about too
Be(s)t of luck to all (tu)

Most interesting 'mention' here imo is Pej - I make that race one of the toughest on the card - almost certainly too short for For the Lads - and the others much of a muchness imo - so imo the value lies in the longer priced runners like Winter Darling, Sweetwater and even Kings Rose (who holds Virgo's Babe comfortably on the Ace Antonius run)
Nothing to fear from Siddarth - I see it has been scratched
