hibs the summer cup never will compare untill the cape trainer support these. i now justin snaith is nominate but where is bass, kannemeyer, ramsden? is that simple. i find it the joke the excuse of altitude is use. i think is to much bother for these fat cats who like to say we the best in country but no prepare to raid.

greg is may be one hurdle i agree, let me ask these question and hear i use the bass kannemeyer ramsden stable as the example. all these stable have many "good" horse that are no the best in stable. surely it make sense that some of these horse have a crack at 3 million and no focus on pe with 350000? we see all time horse get stable at other yard. if it is jooste yard they choose between de kock alexander tarry laird soma goosen what more you want there is no even big cost involve

For sure, im no trainer but you would think they could plan a campaign around the Summer Cup well in advance.

Imo you will never get the same horses contesting the 4 'big' ones (July, Met, Summer Cup, Administrators) so you can never have an 'ideal' time for the Summer Cup (or even the Administrators) - so we have the Met end of Jan, the Administrators end of April, the July and the Summer Cup end of November - seems that's about the best one can do?
And as for the meeting on Tuesday night - nice horses, yes, but it's not going to be easy trying to guess which horses will be 'almost ready' and which ones are 'not ready' - especially the 3 yr olds are going to be hard to predict and lots of the others are coming back over distances short of their best - real nightmare imo - best bet imo Sabre Tooth

Also like Sabre Tooth, just worried about Guy From Dubai. I make Henry Of York my standout bet and will probably be my only bet for the Evening as you and Thor point out a terrible punting card as we have no idea the fitness of horses returning from a break plus many of them running over distances short of their best.
One thing I found strange is that Shermin Brown has jumped off Jimmy Choo to ride Tiger Territory. Jimmy Choo is proven on the Turf so does this say something about Tiger Territiory. :S
