I quite like War Horse, having his 3rd run after a rest and Striker aboard. The 1450 should also suit but just very out at the weights. A good race to bring horses on as only the winner can incur a maximum 6 point penaly so running close or ahead of COTT will not adversely affect any ratings.

Some 'thought provoking' jockey arrangements imo - especially with the Tarry runners - and also the Brown / Jimmy Choo one - on the face of it, it looks like Sherman is on the wrong one, as JC finished almost 3 lengths in front of TT over 1300 at Greyville - but TT is now better off at the weights - maybe not enough to turn the tables - but also TT was drawn 13 from 16 that day (JC was at gate 4) - so all in all probably not a lot between them - and perhaps Sherman feels that JC is slightly suspect over the 1160 :S Both are racing fit and I think the race lies between them as most of the others are either probably looking for more ground (Heart of a Lion, Willow Magic, Umgiyo) or unexposed at this level (Chekili, Aurum Pot) :S:S

.....Jimmi Choo a bit of a flat out 1000m sort.....tried stinting the speed and tried over further.....the KZN run was a blinder over 1300m but had the puff when down on altitude.....runs back on sand may have built up a bit of stamina but also could have stinted the pace.....I'd look elseware as the field is packed with potential....

Not my first choice by a long way but found it strange that Shermin has ridden him in every race he has had and jumped off him for a horse 6 kg's out at the weights with him. If Tiger Territory is better than Jimmy Choo then at 12/1 could be value in this race against a strong field but many coming off breaks and aimed at bigger races. Not a race I would take a bet on the nose on as some of these horses improve in leaps and bounds from race to race.

tiger terrority has still not qualified for an official grass rating as she has had only 2 runs on turf so her 94 is her sand rating albeit its a plate race tom...personally feel that jimmy choo has no improvement left in him and will battle off his rating in handicaps in future

Heart of a Lion is doing really well (is going to be an exciting year) and it is nice to see Striker on board, however the distance should be to short. On the other hand never say never, this horse also surprised us over the 1400 against Judicial, Evergreen etc etc.

Break a leg, Nickname - very competitive race imo - Tiger Territory the unknown quantity on the turf - as shrek says 12/1 could be value, but looking at the reace again, Willow Magic has won over this trip and looks a worthy favorite - rates the one to beat imo - if he is not too ring rusty

Willow Magic is the right favourite in the race I think. Heart of a Lion and many others (in my opinion) are preparing for the Graham Beck stakes (2 Nov) and Dingaans (30 Nov).
