Looking at the first ...
A line through Abstract makes EVERGREEN a very good thing
If you don't like the first timers
If Flight Check (3 yo) sees out the 2600m of the second she will be hard to beat
Carlisie will be Strydom's second win

Looks another competitive card.
My bet for the day will be in Race 8 with Alec Laird's runner, As You Like. The Alec Laird yard is in hot form as we saw on Tuesday night. As You Like was shorter in the betting on debut than stablemate Forest Indigo and we know what Forest Indigo can do. The 1160 looked far to short for him and enjoyed the mile trip. He comes back off a 4 month rest but the stable brought the horses back well on Tuesday. He looks to have plenty of scope and I recon he will be a massive runner tomorrow and the 8/1 available is a massive price which I have already sunk my teeth into. Most of the other runners have found their place and make only the lightly raced Pivotal Pursuit and Star Point as the dangers.

I've taken a short priced treble :-
Turf R2) Flight Check
Turf R3) Shout Out
Dbnv R2) Scarlet Witch
Break a leg
Turf R2) Flight Check
Turf R3) Shout Out
Dbnv R2) Scarlet Witch
Break a leg
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

I agree with both bayern and shrek - I included Shout Out (win) and As You Like (place - drawn 14 out of 14 when winning that maiden) in my Yankees - together with It's Mister To You (place), Neon Tiger (place) and Miss Stingray (surely can't miss a place) (tu)

There isn't anything between Mogok's Express and Shoot Out

Imo - for what it's worth - the handicapper got hold of Olympia Beijing and she will struggle to win again off that mark - and as far as Wild Ash is concerned, 3 yr old taking on her elders over 1800 - not my cup of tea - probably will end up with that yellow stuff all over my face again :
