Why can't racing get up to date-they have had accounts for tele bet for 20 years or so-why not do a joint venture with a bank and have a debit card so that the account works for a)tele bet (as now)
b)betting at an outlet, with the card, and any winnings can be re-loaded on the card
c)card can be used to draw cash from ATM's
How difficult is that for goodness sake.

You must be from KZN/TABgold with a different voucher system or just have the savvy to record numbers......the last thing on does when collecting is to take down the numbers and record them......I know of several instances where vouchers were lost and people were told tough luck as maybe they did not have references.....also I believe Saftote vouchers are in denominations as when I was last paid in vouchers I got a R4K and a R3K and some cash .....also seen same tote operator giving several vouchers on a R20K+winner.....the vouchers I received I cashed at the TAB head office....if bigger value single vouchers are available I was not told.....but nor did I ask as I thought that this was the norm.....:S

I like the options available, but just sometimes I want cash.
What worries me here is that Brass doesnt clarify what he was offered by the branch manager. So, then I am in his camp, if the options werent offered or explained to him.
Surely the branch manager would have done as follows -
1) been happy for Brass, congratulated him, smiled etc.
2) explained options to Brass.
3)amongst others, offered some immediate cash from float and then -
a) arranged balance to be collected elsewhere or next day etc
b) offered an immediate transfer, obviously arranged through head office
c) offered cheque or voucher or combinations of them
Did this happen, Brass?
