Got the Run Around

I caught 300 Pas yesterday R22830 I've now been to 5 different tab outlets to be told at all of them they don't have cash to pay me what crap is that? Why must I run around to get paid?all I can say its a disgrace on Phumelelas behalf.

If i was a manager of the 1st branch i would have phoned around the other branches and arranged for you to pick the cash up,it`s just common sense

Brass I find they battle to pay out when someone collects R2k.

There should be laws to protect the punter against this, surely??

brass is always the story with the tote. if you go early even for 2000 they dont have money and tell you come back later or even worse they want to give the voucher. you dont have choice be cause ticket is cashed through the machine all ready so what do you do? i get hold of the manager of the local tab he tell me is because they have to bank all the money for phumelela before 9am or they get trouble. now for me surely if you have the brain you can have the float to pay the early punter if he want hes cash.

Ask them for 4 vouchers

Harry i`ts the same in the UK,Managers have to bank when they take say £1000 over their float,which can mean multiple visits to the bank.If they don`t bank and there was time to bank they get reprimanded..

I have often driven customers to a bank and handed over the larger amounts to them...

Correct ..They only allowed to keep 10% of the previous days takings. ..not sure if that percentage has changed.
Rather cash up on the same day.

For sure you can cash at Turffontein on racedays???

Voucher the same as having a winning ticket

hibby hear is one potential solution - get the customer banking detail and do the eft? for me is better than the voucher, as some one say these is same as wining ticket

my bookie cashes my vouchers...1 bookie pays 3% more for a ticket and gives it to u in cash....and he ficas the ticket to himself....washed himself some extra money
