Money Making Thread for ALL to contribute

I have been in horse racing for 38 years, my 1st bet was as a 6 year old and its with great passion and love that this game has been part of the ups and downs of my life. I can honestly say i am 2 steps away from not betting on horses anymore (have not had a bet for the last 4 days) i just find its getting harder and harder. I have turned my attention to sports betting and finding what i think is value in the 1000's of betting options one has available in football and other sports.

I open this thread hoping we can all post our sports bets on here. Ill start with some today and hopefully we can make some cash. The thing i LOVE about sports betting is that i find myself on quite LONG winning streaks , often winning 6 or 7 bets in a row, unheard of in racing. There is always a hard luck story or something that lets you down. Of course this also happens in sport but my belief is that it is easier.

I'm content and i watched a good game of football instead of racing for 1 1/2 hours with all sort of shenanigans

One reason why I like racing is that it is all over between 1 and 2 minutes. Absolutely fantastic. These days I cant handle 80/90 mins.

I used to be like that. Now with 99% of the event complete im sometimes still in with a chance. In racing with 60% of a race complete most times i know my fate

Not easy at all. But last year was brutal. Also started getting involved in tote betting and went back to the " one leg out " situation again. Hating it at the moment.

Horses trainers everything is hit and miss. The ONLY consistency is inconsistency.

put in hours, you kidding.

i put in plenty hours and i know of a few on this forum that put in 10 times more. One of them is an awesome studier of form. He is at his wits end. His balance sheet for last year is worse than mine and that includes a R400k pick 6 win.

Its tough going, not because of couplings falling away or any of the "general " complaint but mostly because of "in and out " running with no logic nor explanation.

I am not saying sport is the be all and end all. and of course the odds are very cramped BUT for sure i have even had a few winning streaks of double digits and not ever racing.
