With the amount of rain we have had in JHB this morning and it is continuing, I wonder if Kenilworth will be a stand alone meeting tomorrow?

Thanks Shrek, was just about to begin studying. For sure, the forecast its not looking good. Think I'll hold off until closer to the time and see if we are lucky enough for the rain not to hit the course too much

Plenty of rain in Alberton. With the lack of rain leading up to this the course should hopefully be able to handle it.

We had plenty early hours of the morning and im probably 5 km's or so away from you....
On my way in to Jozi it was pissing cats and dogs just after the Edenvale off ramp... Some schools on the West Rand have apparently been closed because of flooding.

I heard that the 'double decker' section of the highway was flooded this morning - that's close to Turffies, so I would assume they also had plenty of rain - maybe Wise or David can update us ?

from facebook
We've had *heavy* rain on hard, dry ground here at Turffontein, for at least 8 hours now. The going tomorrow is going to be messy!
