Aus were 64/4 at close of 4th day needing 117 to win...Donald bowled two away swingers to Border off the first two balls of the 5th day and then brought one in to clip the off stump...I can still remember him turning and appealing to the umpire for LBW / Caught behind having not seen the bail fall...I was still at school and got up about 1 in the morning to watch even though it was a school day...I slept in class later that day but it was worth the trouble having witnessed a great match...that team played with heart...
Fanie ended with 6 in the match (McGrath was the last wicket caught and bowled)...remained his best bowling in tests for the rest of his career...
And Steyn has just got Haddin in a replay of the 1st innings dismissal...(

I have had a few conversations with Chris Rogers whilst he was playing county cricket and I am over the moon for him for making his 100. He is a nice bloke with not an ounce of arrogance about him

Vital to pick up the 7th wicket so that SA can ask for the extra half hour especially with the rain forecast

Smith has been immense as a skipper in this match. He has brought on his bowlers at the right time everytime since the fall of the first wicket.

We may well win this match but it will just paper over the inherent problems...that's to be revisited another day...nevertheless, anytime a SA team wins (at any sport...), I'm thrilled ...(
