One further point is that about 20% of the turnover bookmakers do is on overseas racing therefore 20 million should have paid to the overseas race clubs,if it hasnt been paid for how many years i rest my case.Phumelela should come clean and confirm it was or was not paid.

Could it have been subsumed within profits / reserves like the groom's accommodation grant money may have been and paid out as dividends ???

Not about amount of money it is about the principal and terms of agreement .....the partnership PGE/GC (and you may know very well that John Stuart went traipsing all over the globe) to put agreements in place to sell(ours) and receive pictures from numerous other racing jurisdictions. Now with all this fuss of loosing a pivotal broadcast partner(DSTV) his HK counterparts are realizing that they had been duped as I do not think that they were kept in the "picture" as far as the access that bookmakers had to their picture.....:

Hi Dave,
I noticed a thread on your site regarding Hong Kong racing been broadcast
in Australia and the UK. I cannot answer for the UK yet but will get the
information in due course. It certainly isn't shown as part of the regular
bookmakers fare.
For Australia I do have the details. TabCorp import the product and send it
out on various channels. This would be viewed in their shops. There are no
retail bookmaker shops in Australia so this is not a problem. What happens
is that the online bookmakers, who are licensed in the Northern Territory,
do take bets on the product. However they do so without any streaming of
the product an they do so without agreement. So essentially they are
pirating the product.
We do hope to have some good news on the Hong Kong front. They may allow us
to broadcast the product as long as we display the fact that bookmakers are
not permitted to bet on it. We expect a decision soon.
Regards

.....Oh goodie a glimmer of hope....yes Betting World will not offer bets easy....the rest of the bookies may still offer the open bet options but are at risk with the potential local pool manipulation....:
