He has had a sprint up on the Vaal on Tuesday and my gut tells me Tarry will prepare him much the same way as Heavy Metal. Remember last year he ran a very credible 6th beating horses like CTN, H54, Punta A, etc and he gave them weight. He looks a better horse this year. He is running of a 106 compared to a 112 last year. He shd make this feel on his J & B run alone. This is just my gut and my fancy. Everything is speculation at present but i am taking my chances

Whistle Stop 4 me... If he runs, will also make legislature and CA run in da daily news, his only concern will be LTK. I heard this horse is a champ,n a serious champ before it beat willow magic and bouclette top last year, dn it lost2 willow(looked 2 be caught napping)and also in cape he lookedflat, but mdks horses didn't run well der. He knows his good as well, looks a picture.

James, been looking for something at a price. That has proven classy in the past but just needs a bit of luck and will get in the field. I'm thinking Wylie Hall fits the bill.

one of the reasons I like him is that he stays but also has the speed has won over1400/1600 and with the VDJ when you hit the straight you need to speedup,
IMHO I do not think the VDJ is a true stayers race, but suit horses that can sit a bit but has good sprinting speed at the end
