Some thoughts on the current ante- post value- Interbet prices
Legislate 9/2 and Louis the King 11/2: big runners but poor value
Yorker 9/1. Very tough task at MR 118- not for me
Futura 16/1 - won't get a run unless he goes very close in the Daily News: poor value
Beach Beauty 16/1. Not a definite runner as she might go for the Garden Province again. Wait for clarity
Hill 54 20/1 - fair value for a top contender
Capt America. 20/1 seems held by other 3yo especially if Yorker runs and weights compressed. Fair price
Cherry on the Top 20/1- huge runner off MR107. Value
Pomodoro 20/1- serious runner and is steadily coming back to best. Value
As you Like 25/1- needs a good run in Daily News to be sure of run. Speculative, but fair price
Tellina 28/1- serious runner- good value

Cherry on the Top; Tellina; Hill 54; Tellina are worth a nibble ante post.

Imo:

Legislate - Looks the best of the 3yr olds (bar maybe Louis the King) - obvious chance, IF he runs; uncertainty on whether he will take his place make the price seem too short :S

Louis the King - obvious chance IF he runs - as with Legislate, price seems short taken into account that he is not certain to take his place

Yorker - will be in the race; Greyville and a big weight means he won't have easy - 10/1 not bad seeing that he will take his place bar injury

Beach Beauty - not sure to take her place and better over shorter imo - not for me

Hill 54 - rumours abound as to whether he will run - IF he does, he looks fair value at current odds

Captain America - has to be value at current odds - IF Legislate comes out, he will be much shorter in the betting

Cherry on the Top - should take her place if all goes well - Greyville probably not her best track - still not bad value at current odds

Pomodoro - could be past his best, but not bad value at current odds

As You Like - not sure what the plans are - has had a tough Gauteng season - not for me

Tellina - could get closer to Yorker if getting a few kg's, still his style of racing means that the short straight could find him out - not for me

Punta Arenas - every chance to make the final field - good chance on Met run - definite value at current odds

Rio Carnival - his performance on Friday evening in the Betting World 1900 will show if he gets ground - if he runs well on Friday, his price will shorten, if not, he will probably not take his place in the July - so if you believe he will run close on Friday, better take the 25/1 now - for me, I'm guessing he won't stay

So, at the moment, I think the best value is represented by Punta Arenas :S
