Don't be messing with a culinary delight such as biltong. It tastes like an angel came down from the heavens and took a pee on your tongue

looks like shrivelled up kebab meat

whould you put up there as good as haggis?

not in the same class, haggis is a nosh meal.
biltong is a snack.

I cannot stand the taste of haggis and how people can enjoy that is mind boggling, but I suppose everyone to their own taste, I mean there are South Africans that drink Lion lager and support the Blue Bulls. :ohmy:

I will tell you that as a Vegetarian for 20 plus years BILTONG would be the first meat i'd eat again if I had a gun against my head - It should be our biggest export as I have never met a foreign meat eater that can resist it once they've tried a piece. My brother in law in Canada actually imported a Biltong maker and spices after a trip to South Africa a few years ago. Now Castle beer is possibly the most overrated South African product!!

Thousands of tourists travel thousands of miles to see those Proteas growing in the Cape and well Superman is an American Franchise from DC comics that makes tons of money for them but Castle Beer reminds me of pissed out Black Label (I wonder what the light stuff tastes like) :evil:
