Not that they worth much, lol but here are my selections 1 - 7.

Race 1 : Ashram - don't like the fav at all

Race 2 : Lovar

Race 3 : Matari

Race 4 : Night in Seattle

Race 5 : Happy Forever

Race 6 : Tiger Tiger and True Master to battle the last furlong

Race 7 : The Conglomerate

Best value bet for the day IMO is Matari in the 3rd

has the form to win the race doing handstands

Should win easy...............unless it hasn't trained on ????????
Certainly hasn't looked like the horse of old, but maybe just been prepping!

Rob, you good with merit rating - for me the key to MLJets success on Saturday is whether he is really a MR 102, or less? How do you rate him? - thanks in advance.

Bayern, that is my problem.............I am not unhappy that he has been a 102..........I am concerned as to whether he is still that horse .That stable is very good at preparing horses to start their careers but like other stables like that(C Laird similar)sometimes the early part of their career is also the best part............... today will be the test for me in respect of this horse!

Rob, thanks for coming back with an honest viewpoint, much appreciated. Whilst I don't fancy him today, I think it's good for the industry if a horse like MLJet does go on to replicate that early promise, all the best.
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

Only 2 Bets for me today !

Race 4 - 3 Oochonar @ 14/1

And going against Legislate, (Sorry, against the Jockey - The Honourable Richard Fourie), and going for SuperMac on Jet Explorer at 16/1.

Have a Look at Athina in Race 8 with Strydom riding !

I agree with you - problems or not, could not beat Ashton Park in the Green Point - could not beat Legislate in the July receiving 3 kg's - for that matter in the July run is also held by Tellina who is at 25/1

I always find it sad when horses don't fulfil great promise and as we know it happens too often.......................but often it is the public making more of horses than form deserved(sort of a need for heroes)
The thing about today is ,if MLJet has trained on we could bank it comfortably IMO.
The horse that I believe is overrated now is Imperial Gold...........I will prepare for egg,but will be very surprised if its rating is confirmed!

ASHRAM if you can get two places
HOW VAR place
EVENING STORM place
HAPPY FOREVER e/w
DYNASTIC POWER max places
SEIZE THE THRONE -E/w - No Act of War in the race so expect the Real Seize to show up today
JET BELLE - was having a "PREP" last time - better for that run and best E/W of the day
LOUIS THE KING - I think hammering the 56/100 places is a must - He's a super horse from a super crop so expect him to make the great LEGISLATE run
WAVIN FLAG - Home
WINTER RESERVE places quartets
CAROUSEL SWING - 4 place quartets
