How can anybody tip or even play The Conglomerate in Race 7 with a youngster like Andrews riding?

Shouldn't the Trainer be reported for not giving the Horse the best chance of winning by not getting the best Jockey available to ride it !

Race 7 - He is doing fantastically well and I expect him to be right there in the finish. He improves with each run and with the mercurial Pierre Strydom now riding, who knows what can happen.

Bass comment on equity kicker? Is the race not over 1000m? Comment is already bullish but surely would be even more confident if he knew that the trip was 1000m? :silly:

Just switched to TT - to be confronted by one of my pet hates - chariot racing; then after the race I discovered that I have to endure another of my pet irritations - Cecil in the studio - thanks TT

Where is all the Cape maidens (horses :P ) - how come we end up with 5 runners in the opening event (yes I know it is work riders) - surely in Gauteng there would have been a full field
