Guys I don't want to get into an argument about Futura and Legislate.
The comments by Justin was for all to hear AND we appreciate it.
Although Legislate might have been a gallop short, it was prepped for this race whereas Futura was having a prep run for bigger things namely THE JULY.
I did not even touch Futura after listening to those comments
BTW: cannot believe that the PA paid R801.00

Yep Rob, just a matter of opinion and we could argue till the cows come home and we both wouldn't budge on our beliefs and that's why I love this game because everyone's opinion is right
In the context of today I think Futura was given a prep run if ever there was one. He never sits last in a field and given 10 lengths to find on a horse coming into the straight. My opinion is he would've beaten Legislate today if he was aimed at this race like Legislate. i think Legislate missing his prep run showed today and both horses are head and shoulders above any horse in that field. The comments were spot on as Deeno says and it doesn't take a rocket scientist to work them out. i'm not talking from my pocket as I had both in the P6 and didn't play the PA(then I'd be pissed he didn't come top 3). Let's remember the Queens Plate was a prep run for the met and he walked home. With Crawford as trainer I am of the opinion he would've been given more of a chance here but then again the horses both have the same owners so who really cares who brings the money home for them.
As for the July I believe there will be a strategy with the two horses, Snaith isn't going to send them both out on separate missions and end up cutting each others throats. Legislate was my bet last year and I'll be honest I think I was a tad lucky to get paid for that ticket. Anyway i'm not in the country on July day and I have my ticket for Legal Eagle @150/1 and that'll be my only interest in the day. I do think Majmu, Whylie Hall, Futura and Legal Eagle will have Legislates number come the July day(you'll all complain he got a soft ride
) but then again only time will tell, the July always has an element of bragging rights so we'll see who lands up with eggs on their faces because everyone has very strong opinions and there's mine

Hi Deeno
I agree wholeheartedly Was overjoyed with the PA - collected over R11K for R120 layout.
