I find it hard to believe that nobody asked any questions when he started spending millions at the sales and how did he think he would get away with what he had done when he started appearing on television as the new man on the block . Does nobody at Telkom play the horses ? This could have been stopped two years ago and less blood would have been split . Have the sales operators got anything to answer too ?

8 years 3 months agoThat manner in which he went about his well published purchases and spending spree certainly belied the fact that he was anything but honest..one would expect someone with something to hide to keep a much lower proflle..I for one was completely taken by his story and I can assure you I was not alone...aluminium wrote: I find it hard to believe that nobody asked any questions when he started spending millions at the sales and how did he think he would get away with what he had done when he started appearing on television as the new man on the block . This must be one of the biggest "racing" stories in years and good or bad would be worthy of a movie ?
So many twists and turns, high and lows.

About 2 years ago Van Vuuren purchases were being discussed one morning
and where his money came from and the story being told was that it was from
the micro chip on credit cards.
An old trainer eventually said I would bet its been stolen
And from the Government
Asked why he said VV works for the yellow pages and that is a dying business
and owned by Telkom
So many are stealing and nobody gets put in jail
He was 100% correct

I don't buy it that his wife doesnt know where he is and i dont buy the fact that she was so unaware of all of this. And now talk of in the process of a divorce......now all of a sudden or because of the circumstances?? Anyway....my opinion......let the law "run" it's course
