Some nice value to be had between the two. Really like Unagi in the first and the 16/10 with LM looks great value compared to the 11/10 with Hollywood. Take some 16/10 to give you some money for the rest of the day. Best bet on the card for me.
Not saying it can't win, but although he has had 4 wins over the 1600, he has had 7 runs at this track and has yet to finish in the first 3 ....
He has but his last two efforts were in Grade 1's at level weights and he wasn't that far off them.
Unagi also only faded late last time over 1800m off a fast pace. He will prefer the 1600m.
Okay settle down guys, including Mr Pienaar, the biggest dangers to all your fancies will be the two Tarry horses at the bottom of the weights, Hewitson, imo, looks to be on the better weighted horse being a two time winner. I don't believe that King's Archer nor Unagi can concede that much weight to the Tarry pair and a beating - we will see.
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

Bayern , with the greatest respect to your superior knowledge of horseracing , Kings Archer should hold Bold Viking on Street Flyer run over c/d but I also respect the fact that Bold Viking is still lightly raced and has lots of scope for improvement

In my humble opinion Unagi style of racing is much better suited to inside track and is there for the taking :woohoo: :woohoo:

I agree with Craig with regards to Kings Archer being the danger to Unagi and not the two Tarry runners. On times and weight carried in Unagi, RL and BV on the 1 April the two Tarry runners shouldn't get close to Unagi. The 1600 will suit Unagi down to the ground and is my very strong fancy and make Kings Archer the danger.

Thought I'd get you going , on a serious note, for Kings Archer to beat Bold Viking, you will have to hope Bold Viking loses three lengths again. Sorry Chris, this includes Unagi, both there for the taking. There's just something about big race days and Tarry :woohoo:

What a race to start the day, I'm leaning towards Redberry Lane to kick start my bank balance.
Will take the 5/1 on offer

Agree that Unagi is suited to the inside course and i stay away from taking short prices but i think Unagi's course form is good enough to win.

Betting's not out yet for this race so I don't know his price. Absolutely thumped his field on his debut. Full brother to Rafeef and seems way speedier than him. Looks a smart sort this and he should push the two likely favourites in Barrack Street and Wonderwall very close. Couldn't have been more impressed with his debut. Very excited to see how he goes.
Won by a street but slowest of 3 x 1160m run on the same day.

It is interesting to see how much the prices vary from the different bookies. I have taken the odds for Race 11 from Hollywood, LM Bookmakers, Betxchange, WSB and Betting World and the odds range as follows:
Silvan Saint - 12/10 to 7/2
Starrett City - 28/10 to 5/1
Military Award - 33/10 to 8/1.
There are plenty of races on the card that are like this in Race 5, Silver Thursday ranges from 2/1 to 6/1 Twelve Oaks from 15/4 to 17/2.
Some nice value to be had if you shop around.
