he is currently rated a 115 so would have gone into the july a net 111 with the next 3yos colts heavenly blue and al sahem off net 102 ..gold would have had to carry either 57 or 57.5 so it would have been a very hard ask ..he got a 7 pound pen for his brilliant effort in the met where he raced off 52kg

3yr olds don't carry 57 or 57.5 in the July, unless the highest MR horse is withdrawn after weights are announced.
i suggest you go read the conditions of the race then work out who will be top weight either captain usa or marinaresco then deduct the wfa for the 3yos come the first of july and then look back at the conditions to see the max weight for a 3yo colt

If you are correct I don't blame any connections of a top 3yr old bypassing the July at those weights.

When is an updated log due ?

Would be interesting to see the changes - Ten Gun Salute should now be in the Top Twenty- well surely above Elusive Silva

Again there is some knee-jerk reaction with the Ante-Post odds - Nebula by winning on the Poly now suddenly shortened dramatically - Edict of Nantes ran a good race and also shortened - while others like Black Arthur and Elusive Silva (drifting a few points) are still available at the same sort of odds ....

Taking into account that Al Sahem has proved himself better than Tilbury Fort on a few occasions, imo he is now the deserving his place near the top of the boards - and I can't believe that Interbet has drifted The Conglomerate to 50/1 after a fair run on an unfamiliar surface over a trip short of his best

If Bela Bela wins the fillies sprint on Saturday she will probably be favorite. ;)
