Worked with my IT guy yesterday and found that we are in a fix, we will get the site up and running one way or another but it may take a while, one way is to re write which he is already busy on and also we are trying to get the original site up and running, we have problems which I don't want to put out there as we don't know where the attack came from and need to be careful going forward,,,

Mister A, maybe you need a fresh pair of eyes or a different perspective, surely a long re-write can't be the best option...

Why not just downgrade to php 5 and keep using the old database...then rewrite whike the old site is up and running.i saw on an earlier pist you stated incomoatabilities with the sql vetsion.....i presume that otiginates from installing fresh os or server software which uses the updated dql. All software can you can configure it a

PM me the answer to these questions:

OS and Version used before hack - After hack
Database and version used before hack - after hack.
Coding language being used PHP, ASP? vs before and after
Do you have sound backup of the sql database
Do you have sound backup of the coded pages - ASP, etc

I will look at that and decide if there is any help I can give in that regard.
