Brighteyebushytail x London call. London Call looks one of the better odds on favorites I've seen in a while.

This card not looking as easy as yesterday's two.

Form is complicated by the number of runners showing almost completely as polytrack specialists. Really different surfaces that skew the ability of a runner from one surface to the other - and without extensive form on both surfaces, very difficult to make any kind of assessment.

But the show goes oon, Class vs Speed once again , Thursday Turfontein meeting was a victory for speed, yesterday a victory for class -- 1-1.

Fiorella won without doing much on debut. Easier than the margin suggested. Looks a decent sort. 3/1 is a fair price but saver on Light on Her Toes. Owes me a bit and came back to form in a feature LTO.

R1 I'm hoping AIR SALUTE can win as a tribute to Alec who was carded to ride this horse. Horse is knocking on the door ..... hoping he can Open this door for Lezeanne Forbes.

One of many today that Alec would have been riding with a massive chance.

Was drawn on the wrong side of the track that day, and the jock didn't use the whip, not once. My double with London Call.
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

Victory cross could come into her own over the extra 400 and is my pick to make the winners enclosure. If that's not the result then anything can pop up here with all that's going on in the market. The market action around Majestic Sword is very interesting, especially given his debut was at this trip. I think it could be in the shake up, with Magesh's Jet strongly fancied here. (Victory Cross, Magesh's Jet, Majestic Sword)
