Ideal winter for me here.

The money horse by far is ideal winter, while the speed horse is Silent Obsession. I would include Leobana here which I cannot really seperate from Ideal Winter, and on paper could beat ideal Winter - if both stay, which they should. Ideal Winter though hints at enough class to get level with Leobana, and i would not expect a peak performance from the 7y - so will give Ideal winter the Edge. This does play out another way, with both these two not featuring, in which Case Silent Obsession becomes the danger. One runner that has had a lot of issues in running is festival star, and on the few occassions when things went right for him, turned in an impressive 3 length victory. If ideal Winter doesn't turn up - look for Festival Star to be making it very hard for Silent Obsession. I think Ideal Winter should have the class to hold off Silent Obsession, Festival Star and leobana. Value would see Festival Star winning

Pay pay

The Money Horse is War Farer, but just by a bit from Music World. This was a really difficult race to decipher given all the polytrack runners involved. But we'll give it a shot. In this case i think the speed horses hold the aces,Bringing me to Crime Victim, Ever Dear and CUDUIARI - sadly once again all the value is gone on the two of them and the market isn't touching CUDUIARI with a barge pole. Gasoline has found support, while offering me nothing to like about his form - so it's not likely the punters money which is suppporting him. The one dark horse for me was Music World, has no reason on breeding to be dissapointing around this trip and showed a lot at 1600m , sugggesting he should be potent around this trip. Music World was the runner i ticked, but with the market hardly touching that one as well, looks ominous. So the value looks blown, on Gasoline, Crime Victim and Ever Dear --- will keep an eye on the other two but the market doesn't like them at all at this stage. Let's see if we get a true pace, with the horses strung out?

LOL ---- Money once again, when the market tricked me into thinking it was the speed. Actually this should have been a classic value bet, when the Money horse is overlaid you will always get a run for the money. ----overlaid likely since there was very little turf form to go on.

The Moneyhorse is Brighteyebushytail. Seriously supported in the market - must rate strongly. Offers no value for the ordinary punter though. this look likes a good spot horse for the horse and 7/10 warranted. If one is really forced to look for something else to compliment, I would look to Gat Henshaw and there is some optimism around Courageous King.

Once again though, very hard to assess fully with all the polytrack runners with little to show on the turf.

Is there anybody else following scottsville racing today? Very quiet in here?
