Yesterday at Turffontein a similar thing occurred whereby money poured on Hampton Court and the original favourite, Brigtnumberten, took a walk in the betting (just hope Mydada wasn't put off his original fancy). The rest is history.
These are all unexposed 3 year olds (in the 1st race), not sure that Zen Arcade deserves to be 8/10 and now 9/20. Races 2 through to 4 over ground, the 3 year olds are taking on older horses, some not well drawn, and are also short in the market, not for me, even in a multiple. Just a hunch, if the favourite in the 1st gets rolled (Heavens forbid), the rest (races 2 to 4) will drift. For what it's worth, hoping First Crusade drifts out further in R1.
