The two second rated runners , 2nd Merit Rated in each race - turned over the top MR odds on favourites in both races. Odds are sometimes heavier than weight

Black Cashmere looks the one to beat , Both Russet Roses and Uprise have the scope to do so -- YESS dark horse, could make the improvement, but looks a big ask. Very open race --- any of the 4 , and unexposed polytrack form caould pop up.

No -- Was just checking the MR printed in the CF.

I do have my own rating method though -ranking all 5500 some horses actively running, along with standard time chart for each course and distance - median winning time. That along with the top two Merit Rated horses in any race are usually a good starting point for handicapping.
