Thanks again guys. There are people in this forum that have helped unconditionally... Not easy to find nowadays
Yes, I am in the final steps of completely moving away from that sad sad stable. Just looking forward to a new beginning as an owner again :)

Lucky for me... I've had the pleasure of dealing with a few gentlemen of note from this forum and I've been guided into some very enjoyable paths.
Dankie :silly:

having also bought shares in three horses to has some fun , I quickly realised that seeing them run in races on a consistent basis does not happen. The fun part is being able to go to the track early in the morning to watch them work and to pop into the stable every now and then to feed them a apple . I think the trick is not to get over obligated financially and see it as an opportunity to share in the life of a racing stable

For what it's worth, I am finally out of what I consider to be, the worst racing stable ever!! Gary Alexander racing stable is who I was with and I can only advise anyone new who is looking to get into ownership NOT to join the Alexander stable. Anybody who is in the yard should run as fast as you possibly can. They are Baracudas of note!! Horrible performance as a trainer but they can sell their mouths... They should actually consider taking up careers in marketing. They can promise you the world and deliver nothing!!

So seriously people, I've been bitten bad.
I've started fresh with other yards and I guarantee you, the experience is 100x more enjoyable.

The Alexander's are clueless. They don't care about horse racing... Only interest they have are in the size of their pockets.
They are extremely, extremely clueless on the negative impact they lay on an entire industry. It's because of people like them that we can't get new or smaller owners to feel the joy of this amazing sport and athletes alike.

I have to say a final thank you to the many people from this forum that have helped me selflessly. I am seeing a very different picture of this game (in contrast to that painted by Dean & Gary A) and I must say, it has become a pleasure to be an owner again. Thank you guys!!

.....I see that the un-raced filly was bought back for R3 000......shame.... :S

......I don't believe that you were the right fit for that outfit......hence all the negativity in your ownership experience......for the record not only am I able to find inexpensive horse flesh that will be a bit more competitive.....but I am also able to direct people to a better fit to get more enjoyment in ownership...... ;).....BTW this is what the RA should be doing.....not giving one sided recommendations to go to certain Turffontien based trainers.....
