Stupid answer, yes - he won the race, but you missing the point Brian.

These big stables put the lights out when they confident.

and Kilrain was at 4/1 and you said no race if he got the gap

Race 5: very competitive race - every contender has recommendations. Bankable Teddy looks well placed here and should have a chance, being in form and coming off an easy win. The Elmo Effect is the natural challenger, but might battle at a route, straight out of rest. Kilrain and Kallua Castle come off very weak wins LTO and would need to show more to win here.

Didin't battle -- and i discounted it purely on the rest.......what a pity! anyway - at least nothing lost, since I have ended my day!

Race 6: These sorts can show vast improvement, so it's a very competitive race. Starting with the proven runners. On my initial run Through I have Sea King Holding off Lake Kinneret, but Puget Sound could potentially show good improvement here as well. Whorly Whorly and Flying Free can also be considered unlucky in their races against Mustaaqeem and Purple Diamond respectively. My final analysis would be Sea King from Flying Free with Puget Sound and Lake Kinneret coould surprise us. Of course there are a good number that might be much better than already shown. Broadway Trip must be given a chance. Virtually all the fancied runners are rested - so that's a gamble.

Strange one - Think there are grounds for an objection 3rd against the winner . The Elmo Effect crosses Kilrain who checks , definitely the winner interfered with Kilrain.

I didn't say the stable fancied Kilrain, I fancied the horse to win, there's a big difference. I am saying had he got the gap, no race, i am not saying the stable felt before they ran, it was no race, don't be misguided by what i said about the betting FOR THIS RACE JUST RUN.
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

and Top Shot almost over the rail - I remember a similar one a year or so ago where a horse cause interference to a few and it was disqualified

Point of reference is always a crucial factor when comparing Bayern...do you reference against the good or the bad. Sheldon is a decent commentator, with one or two very unprofessional tendencies, which can be easily rectified if some one brings i to his attention.

I really hope he runs well _ I just like everything about him and I hope he turns out to be a Classic horse - If he's behind I hope Jock keeps him wide and does not let him get caught on the rail

.....yes with our old rules and those still in Mauritius.....the winner would have been demoted to 3rd place

Same. I love his turn of foot. The owner really deserves a good one now
