Wishing to clarify a few issues.

Trainer stats are a major input to my decision to back or not to back a horse. Most stables, even those of excellent horseman will go through slumps. When suggesting that a horse or stable is unplayable due to the current statistics in the public domain, this is in no way a judgement on the personal ability of the specific trainer.... it is a punting decision based on the current success rate of the stable.

Unfortunately stats are what they are, and cannot be discounted when looking to back a horse.

At this stage i have reached the decision to no longer post race assessments.....since it is so hard to do so without offending someone....wether it be connections of a horse with no chance, a losing horse that was heavily wagered, or punters who have suffered heavy losses during the day.

I will however continue to browse the forum as there is a wealth of knowledge and expertise available here.

My apologies to any that may have been offended, by any of my comments ....far be it my intention to detract from the value of this forum in any manner.

Thank you
