scotsville 6th december?

is this meeting going ahead or will it be moved to the polytrack as the general information report posted at 15.40 today beggars belief...how can you have a pen reading of 30 with just 4mm in the last 24 hours and just 13mm in the last 7 days?

Should there be any racing:
Race 1: Favourite
Race 2: I liked the way Mbali stayed on over the poly , looked like she's still learning the trade. Was a few lengths away from the field in 2nd and should improve. Her running style and profile suggest a little bit of class. Her stable companion seems best of the raced runners, but just marginally above median - so i am willing to wager that she is a little superior to Var Agtig and capable of winning the race through that line. Shindeagan and Rani - place material here. I was concerned that Camphoratus would be the strongest challenger to Mbali - but Lerena opting for Shindeagan suggests CAMPHORATUS might be in need of the run. -- MBALI
Race 3: Moon Shadow good runs behind La Ferrari and Spy Fiction. Comes back to the 1000m. In the money all starts at the distance and course and distance, gets a 4Kg claim, was in front of the field at 800m LTO after rest. Biggest danger is Grizzard which looks set to improve with Marcus up, and Great Dictator also in the placings. GRIZZARD
Race 4: It's obviously hard to look further than the Grey Crusader with that run behind Big Bear. I am noting down Angel Landing with a 3.55 Length run to Sea King and St Peter's Bay should be better at this trip. If the Reserve runner Unbelievable Lad was to get a run, I think that would win off his debut to Bad Attitude, Bravo Zulu has done enough to stake a claim here as well. The biggest danger to Grey Crusader is Minaloushe Venture , debut run for competent sprint stable. I am going to count on the lightly raced runner with some claims behind Big Bear to show a little class. GREY CRUSADER
Race 5: This is a very weak field - LUNAR TIDE is the best of the raced runners off form behind Admirals Guest with Gimme Hope Johanna the biggest danger. Being such a weak field[ everlasting love has to be in with a shout. EVERLASTING LOVE
Race 6: Mark My Card seems well in at the weights here, and makes debut for new stable - is distance suited having recently won KZNBr beating the Poet at this trip. only problem is that this stable has a very poor perfromance record. MARK MY CARD
Race 7: Miss Carerra had a decent run over the mile to Lanark in the cape prior to rest and has a definite chance here if fit - market as indicator. Minnie The Moocher and Girl In Gold look to improve with Girl In Gold looking to have more scope of these two. MISS CARERRA
Race 8 : I thought Laters Baby could follow up here - bit long in the market though. Celestial Gold one that I also put in contention but too lomg in the market as well. In Clover could be good enough to win here -respect any support for laters baby. IN CLOVER
Race 9: Probably the only playable option with Song Of Mitu, has shown a lot of speed at the shorter trip and just not making it there. Must be able to use that speed at the extended trip. Has failed twice over 1400m though - once after racing wide. SONG OF MITU
So in all , with the chance that they won't even race - there is nothing on this card that I could confidently wager. I will wait for another meeting to present a wagering opportunity.
I will watch briefly and if having the time - I could put a very small , interest only wager on Mbali - don't like the jockey selection there, and perhaps song of Mitu - although could be suspect at 1400m. I cannot oppose Mark My Card - but that stable is not playable. Not a very pleasing card in any event.

R6 I'm only looking at Onesie and she hasn't won here and neither can i be sure about the distance being ideal but the form looks superior and she jumps from draw 1
k de melo in the irons and lets check her odds
18/10 second favourite
and money coming for Lala but Schwarz might need two crops to fend off Onesie
there might not be anything else in the race....any thoughts from more inform readers?

Adams Rosie Bubbles on riding arrangements looks the choice from the stable and has beaten Mbali and not sure what you mean when mentioning Var Agtig but RB had excuses when ahead of her behind Winter Watch, also that Wall Tag race seems to be filling up nicely.
Havent studied the race in detail but Anton's ride needs a mention
Not even sure the race ends there but it wasnt a race i planned to look at
On a positive i was at the course when Mbali got touched off and was given her by this big burly guy that said she cant lose

I am not sure how much can be read into a 9 time runner, beating a 2 time runner that is obviously still developing - cannot actually see where Rosie Bubbles beat Mbali though? I will agree that Rosie Bubbles looks to be on a peak run - but is rather moderate. Var Agtig is Mbali's stable companion and it's Rebels Diamond, run would beat this field - hasn't run to that form for some time though - but could actually be the one from the stable that pops up. You would have also noticed Mbali running around on that day , and going to be far better for the experience. Of course Flamenco Dancer is in with a chance - but you know you're not allowed to mention more than 2 or three horses in an opinion
