Lionel, you entitled to disagree with my views all you want, i just find it strange that i am not allowed to disagree with your views - it's called hypocrisy.

Bayern, please show me where I've attacked you personally over your views. Read through the posts and see who resorts to browbeating.
Anyway, have a good day Bayern. Stay safe out there.

Lionel, if it appears that i am attacking you personally, it's because you are agreeing with your church's dogma. Most believers feel that because it came from God's Vicar on earth, it's got to be correct - this couldn't be further from the truth. He is fallible like all of us, don't be misguided.
Let woman decide what to do with their bodies themselves.
Whatever happened to an individual's right to choose?
You have a good day as well Lionel.

Bayern, I'm not sure if you understand what you just said. You say that you're attacking me because of my religious belief. That's bigotry.
Freedom of choice. That's a noble concept. Where do you draw the line?
1. Choosing your own gender identity?
2. Choosing the race that you identify with?
3. Choosing which toilet you want to use?
4. Child brides
5. Female genital mutilation.
Etc etc.

Religion poisons everything Lionel. Are you not taking a bigoted view on some of the above points yourself?
Food for thought, if we are here by the grace of God (which is a load of nonsense), why does He keep the mould for LGBTQ type persons, whom annoy both Him and you?

Bayern, stop.making assumptions about me. Disagreeing with someone or something does not equate to disdain or hatred. I have family and friends that fit into that "mould", all of whom I love and respect, although I disagree with their life choices.
Naturally, this is not discussed around the dinner table.

Well, the first two (I'm not mentioning 3 as it is tied to no.1) are choices that people that are free should be free to make. Most of the first world countries on the planet have no problem with gender choice.
I've never heard of people changing their race but that doesn't mean it doesn't exist.
You are free to believe in any religion you please and so should every other person on this planet be free to believe or not believe in anything they want. It isn't for individuals to impose their wills on others.
The last two points I'm pretty sure is illegal in most counties everywhere, except for maybe a few African countries (gender mutilation).
These two things very few people, percentage wise actually believe in, on this planet so I'm not too worried about explaining them as I respect you as an intellectual individual.

Thanks Chris, for giving me the benefit of intelligence, although many would disagree
I agree with you regarding 1...people should be free to choose, as long as that choice does not impose or impacts another. I see you dodged 2...
3. Impacts others...males in females toilets? Debatable.
4 &5. I put it in to illustrate that there is no such things as unlimited freedom if choice. Everyone has a line that they will not cross. Where that line is differs. And we are free to chose our own lines, and to advocate for it, in a respectful manner.
Even though those cultures practise it, most frown upon it, and are actively working to end it. Rightfully so.
