Food for thought, if we are here by the grace of God (which is a load of nonsense), why does He keep the mould for LGBTQ type persons, whom annoy both Him and you?
Live and let live.
Bayern, stop.making assumptions about me. Disagreeing with someone or something does not equate to disdain or hatred. I have family and friends that fit into that "mould", all of whom I love and respect, although I disagree with their life choices.
Naturally, this is not discussed around the dinner table.
Why?[/quote]
Because we agree to disagree. To get along, we all dont have to believe the same thing, or to accept everything.
I respect their views And they respect mine.

I think it's deplorable that the man pled guilty and that the DOJ decided to drop all charges.
It seems to me that it sets a very dangerous president for a sitting president to be able to influence so deeply that the person running the body that is responsible for the law of the land will go on national television and say that he doesn't believe anybody did anything wrong, that's why Flynn was released.

Read the full story rather than the Democrats talking points...
He lied to avoid jail-time (deal offered to him as they were really after DJT at the behest of Obama, Billary, etc) but this was without full information and with threats against his son...but then the FBI reneged on the no jail-time deal and so he recanted...
There is much more going on...Susan Rice's memo to self (not shared with anyone at the time to ensure a correct recording of discussions) 2 weeks AFTER a supposedly "important national security discussion" and on DJT's inauguration day to provide cover for Obama that he wanting things done "by the book"
I get that DJT is not likeable...he is brash, arrogant, offends people with his tweets and comes across as a buffoon...but I'd take the overt buffoon over the covert, duplicitous alternatives...they needed Billary to win in 2016 to avoid their misdeeds coming to the fore and, when she lost, they have tried every and any means to discredit DJT so that Obama can continue to say there wasn't a "smidgen" of misdeed in his administration...we know that is a lie but one wouldn't think so if one only follows the MSM as they provide cover by deflecting or ignoring those misdeeds...
No-one politician anywhere is clean...but, I'd take some-one who enters politics a billionaire over anyone who enters politics to become a millionaire...

@TN. My views are similar to yours. My "Thank You" to Chris was for him responding to my request, which I appreciate, albeit, disagree with.
I personally thinks it's appalling what was done to Flynn.

@Lionel...even Obama in the leaked tape of his criticism of DJT got it wrong...said that Flynn was found guilty of "perjury"...and they used a 200 year old Act that has only been used twice before to charge him...
Given the set of circumstances, any reasonable man would want to protect their child, would accept no jail time and confess to a crime...the FBI had the recordings and still asked him even though it would produce no new evidence but simply trap him in a lie...
The late night talking heads and MSM and Democrats feel that DJT is using the Dept of Justice and Barr...they have nothing to say about Obama and the IRS and the FBI and the abuse of FISA, etc...
The critics must answer one question before judging and condemning Flynn...what would you do given the "choices" (??) he was faced with?

Also, whatever they had on his son was attained through a fraudulent process....it's like searching your house without a warrant, or if you have a warrant and that that warrant was issued based on a lie.
Either way, Obama was after him and they trapped Flynn...a 35 year veteran.
They are psychopaths. Cuomo and gang sending covid+ people to old age homes. Shocking!

I see many parallels between the Democrats in the US and the ANC here...two of which are:
...they want a dependent populace, living off scraps handed out, who they rule over while they live as kings...
...they use every and any opportunity to pilfer taxpayer money...any aid or cause or tender / contract already has a conduit to funnel money back to the ANC / Democrats and it's leaders (and relatives and related entities) via "donations" and envelopes...that's was the primary reason for their anger over Ukraine...one of their many money laundering operations and DJT attempted to halt the flow of money they had already spent...

@ Lionel and TNaicker, if then President Obama carried out something illegal, why not have him indicted? That seems simple and fair enough?
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

What I'd like to know is, why go after Obama oor Hillary oor anybody else?
They are either out of office or they lost? History will condemn them or not for what they have or have not done?
All I care about now is what's actually happening now? I care about the American people being taken care of now and I care about how the world sees America now.
I'm not a Democrat, btw. I fully intend to be more centrist as my views align with a fiscal conservative and a social liberal stance...... one thing i cannot stand is a president acting like a child because he doesn't like the questions he is asked. He lies, manipulates, evades and influences. He has no redeeming qualities for a leader, whatsoever. Never mind anybody who came before him, they are of zero consequence, right now. The only person that matters is the one making the calls and sending out a Twitter rant every 7 minutes last Sunday.........

Chris, wrong is wrong. If they couldn't indict Obama because he was a sitting President back then, now it's a million times easier to "get him". You have DJT, the AG, Fox News, all saying what was illegally done by the Obama administration.
There's a saying, what goes around, comes around - should they find Obama or Hillary guilty, once DJT is out of office, the DOJ will go after him for say, not submitting taxes for 10 or 11 years, "clever accounting" by inflating his net worth to obtain bank loans, etc.
Life has a funny way of leveling the playing field.

Four ways to lose friends:
discuss politics
discuss religion
borrow money
sleep with their spouse
