People are too litigious and wanting to go after a certain person or persons to keep their own agendas under the radar.
Right now the only focus should be the current administration and what they are or are not doing to navigate through this tough time the country is going through. You're right in saying that time is a great leveler but let's not forget about what is happening in the present rather than lamenting the past or hoping for a future outcome.

There's a saying, what goes around, comes around - should they find Obama or Hillary guilty, once DJT is out of office, the DOJ will go after him for say, not submitting taxes for 10 or 11 years, "clever accounting" by inflating his net worth to obtain bank loans, etc.

Life has a funny way of leveling the playing field.

Here's what i stumbled over earlier :-

Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

The past matters because it has current consequences and the present matters because it has future consequences...

The US is a federal constitutional republic which gives vast powers to governors...the federal government steps in after governors have acted / not acted...one of the reasons DJT doesn't have the power to force states to re-open if governors choose to continue with the lockdown (he can advocate for it but doesn't have the power to overrule the decisions made by individual governors)...in trying to pin this on DJT and the federal government, the Democrats and MSM and Hollywood are trying to absolve the (mainly) Democrat governors who are in charge of the states with the highest infections and death...their fiscal indiscipline left them without the resources to plan and prepare...see pension fund liabilities for California, New York, New Jersey and where the money is going...not counting the freebies offered to immigrants in return for votes...

The "left" decry DJT and the federal government's delayed response yet they thought his China travel ban in January "racist" and hence an over-reaction (rather than a lack of action)...and the Democrats still engaged in activities into March as if there was no issue with Covid-19...a man can see a speck of dust on another's forehead but cannot see a pack of fleas at the tip of his own nose...

As I have stated before, DJT is brash, arrogant, insulting to people - not what one associates with the typical president...but given the alternatives, Billary in 2016 and Quid Pro Pedo Joe now, he is less bad...the billionaire who got into politics rather than those that got into politics to become millionaires...the overt buffoon rather than the covert, duplicitous alternatives...

This was the reason I gave up Facebook, rhetoric to suit one side or three other. Name calling....... something I don't stoop to.

Guess ABC is next. I'll comment again when people learn respect, both Republicans and Democrats alike.

The wheels of Justice turns slowly. Durham is coming for the deep state. First casualty down. More to follow.

Squeaky bum time.
