Vaal

Race 1

Heather Adamson
No 1 Turf Master - He meets a weaker field than he has been up against
recently and if given a decent ride, he should have a good winning
chance
Tyrone Zackey
No 8 Deal Me In - Has a chance in this field
No 9 Royal Siege - Should be included in Quartets
No 7 Whipping Boy - Trying a longer distance. Chance if he stays

No 3 Lainsberg Blue - Will need the run
Corne Spies
No 12 Baby Let's Mambo - He comes back after a short break and may need this run

he should have a good each-way chance
Geoff Woodruff
No 8 Sir Geoffrey - He's had a couple of nice grass gallops and is one
to include in exotics

RACE ONE

NO.3 VOODOO (WIN) (maybe he was cursed not to break his maiden)

Gau:Tfntn
Wet:7:0-3-1
Crs: 13:0-0-1
Dst: 22:0-2-4
C&D:7:0-0-1

Very weak field...only has to beat the first 2 in the betting...where one has never been over the distance and the other a 4th place

So experienced over distance (20/1)

Ride him sleeping at the back..and work him on the 1000m straight

Maybe the equipment change will do the trick...

Thoughts on a gloomy day ....

R2: Of those in the betting, I think Orphelin Noir with the clain is the right one, but all those quoted less than 10s need to be included in the BP to make sure

R3: Again all 5 horse in single figure odds need to be considered, my first choice is Lady Scarletina

R4: I fancy Tartan Dancer after a very good run last week - Wylie Wench finding big betting support though, so needs to be considered with the consistent Single Red Rose - these 3 stand out

R5: Should be another straight forward match between Masaaquaat and Cosmic Ray - my preference for the Masaaquaat

R6: Now it gets tougher; Lazarus Tree has blinkers removed and is my first choice from Tokyo Drift and Norland; Sir Geoffrey could upset, and runners like Movie Magic, Electromagnetic, True Words, Category Four and Windy Flight can also feature

R7: Zouaves best this distance and is my choice to beat the two Tarry inmates

R8: Very tough race where the field is probably needed for the P6 and JP; Sally Called looks well weighted and is my roughie

R9: I fancy Nimcha, with Kurt's Approval and Mount Rainer the biggest dangers; Jagesa Jagesa, Hidden Agenda and Set the Standard to chase them home

Enjoy B)
