Reading on BBC that grave diggers are working harder and more are being employed in some South American countries.

i stick by my original assessment. worst performing pandemic in history.
a pandemic should be killing 10s of millions not 10s of thousands.
Mass media have terrified governments world wide into going overboard in trying to deal with this virus.in doing so the world economies are smashed.
some countries are never going to recover financially and those that do recover will be sitting with massive debt burdens that generations to come will have to try deal with.
testing remains underwhelming with most developed countries managing to test between and 1 and 2 % of the population. South Africa we have tested 0.17 % of the population(by far the most in africa)
a one size fits all approach also was a massive mistake. all sorts of variables were just ignored in calling for mass shutdowns of the world economy. age of Pop density of pop, international airports, Chinese tourist hot spots, seasonal weather and even possibly vaccine regimes. ANC Govt has over reacted and destroyed a large part of the private middle class.
Africa for example have reported 21000 cases and 1000 deaths so far in 54 countries. 25% are reporetd to have recovered already. further to that 80% of the deaths are north african countries. morocco egypt algeria tunisia.
compare that to Europe a 1 million cases and just shy of 98k deaths.
i really hope sanity prevails and they don't extend the lock down past 1 May. with a few exclusions . Restaurants , casinos , churches , schools. international tourism inbound and outbound.
two final thoughts
1 seeing 400 parliamentarians sitting in National assembly all looking and sounding like Kane from batman/ that will lighten my mood.
2 flu season is upon and heaven help anyone catching a normal cold this year. u will be sent to a leper colony until u well.

Seem to think he "scored" from a free kick which was dis-allowed against Bayern Munich in the middle 70's. (1975)?
In the old European Cup, back then. Bayern went on to win 1 - 0 .

Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

It will be interesting to see a comparison of deaths year on year...to see the net effect of this virus. This will also negate fudging of the books.

China recorded a drop of 21 million cellphone users in March. Scary thought.
“The Chinese regime requires all Chinese to use their cellphones to generate a health code. Only with a green health code are Chinese allowed to move in China now. It’s impossible for a person to cancel his cellphone,” Tang Jingyuan, a US-based China affairs commentator, told The Epoch Times on March 21.

Although it is not over the world must be doing something correct. They reckon that between 20 million and 50 million people died in the Spanish Flu of 1918/1919.
An excerpt from metro.co.uk
A survivor of the Spanish Flu, the now-107-year-old Joe Newman, who is still alive and living in Sarasota in the US, has spoken out about his experiences of contracting Spanish Flu. He told NBC that, based on his experience during the Spanish Flu, people need to look out for one another during the coronavirus pandemic to ‘get through’ He said: ‘You have to be my crutch. I have to be yours. It’s been that way through every crisis we’ve had and then we find that’s what got us through.’
