Colorado has made a stunning and significant change to the way it counts COVID-19 deaths that reduced the statewide figure from more than 1,000 to 878, according to a report.

The change came after Colorado’s Department of Public Health admitted that its COVID-19 death toll was counting those who tested positive for the coronavirus but had died of other causes, Fox 31 Denver reported late Friday.

The department now says 1,150 Coloradoans who died had COVID-19 but only 878 of those deaths were “due to” COVID-19.

The only stat I would be interested is a comparison on year on year death figures.

All other stats can be spun, to suit whatever agenda is being driven.

seeing that i am awake before my chickens thought i would share some of my Covid stats:
at best most of the data we get is great for trend analysis and not for much else.
for example
China' data is just Huewy in my opinion.
India data will probably take years to filter to any central point
Russia 272000 cases only 2500 dead less than 1% mortality rate??
Spain 276000 cases 27500 dead. just under 10% mortality rate.
so is Russia under reporting or Spain is over reporting??
Most tested of the EU Countries Denmark 7.5 % only of its population.
USA has tested 3.6% of its population. i will add here that various friends/acquaintances In New York/New York state/Maine/Massachusetts are shitting themselves and have locked themselves for going on 60 plus days. but the stats there are scary.
Then we come to africa. Give me a break . run by imbeciles at best and numbskulls at worst
1.3 - 1.4 BILLION people.
83363 cases TOTAL as of 16 May
2726 dead as of 16 May . Out of 1.3 billion people.
More people get eaten by hungry rampaging Unicorns in africa per day than this virus.
Virus cases in southern africa excluding Mauritius and Madagascar.
SA 14000/260 cases 60 million people
Lesotho 1/0 cases 2.5 million people. fcuk nose if they can even spell virus
Swaziland 202/2 cases 1.1 million people.
Botswana 24/1 cases 2.3 million people
Mozambique 129/0 cases 31 million people
Zambia 679/7 cases 18 million people
Zimbabwe 42/4 cases 15 million people
Malawi 65/3 cases 19 million people
Angola 48/2 cases 33 million people
Tanzania 509/21 60 million people
Namibia 16/0 2.5 million people
if u catch COVID 19 IN southern africa and die from it, it was ur time to go.

we have torched the region' economy for years to come we have taken on government debt that will never be repaid for what?
300 deaths in a region with 240 million people.

Main stream media 1 common sense zero
Central government 1 common sense zero
Fear and ignorance 1 common sense zero

China,India,Russia and N Korea 's figures will be what they want to disclose.
UK (66mill) vis a vis Germany (83mill) doesn't say much about the way Britain has gone about things.
At the moment the Southern African countries are reporting low figures.
Can this be put down to different virus circumstances as per the Northern Hemisphere ?

Heard on the radio that the spike in infections was 1084 yesterday. Over 800 in the Western Cape alone. Speculation they will return to Level 5.
Not surprised watching the news and seeing those idiots running everywhere without masks.

W Cape has had the most tourist traffic from the affected areas overseas like USA, UK, Europe etc
While the country was focussed on the 150 or so Saffers quarantined in Wuhan and how they were going to come back here and mess things up,
the tourists were entering without any mandatory 14 day quarantine or testing, only temp checks at Airport.
Another factor is the size of Cape Town, about 40km2 only.
Another theory is the further away from Equator the higher the infection.
From the above I would say the Tote Favourite will be .....Tourists who were
asymptomatic.

Just a reminder of the link I use, would be great for kids for geography if it wasn’t to inform them of death rate of this bloody virus .
