Love him or hate Donald he is an interesting subject for any debate. He is making statements against the way SA is being run which is commendable.
Not sure about the land issue but it's fair to say that under the ANC they have basically ruined ever infrastructure they have touched by incompetent leaders, greed and theft.....
The minister of defense is a classic example.
BEE was a great concept but badly implemented.
How can u run any company based on the colour of somebody's skin rather than their competency to help to run a successful organization 🤔
Interesting times ahead for the entire planet and hope wars can be stopped under his watch. 👋

*DA demands action over R300m growth in Tshwane’s electricity losses*
by Cllr Jacqui Uys - DA Tshwane Spokesperson on Finance
The Democratic Alliance (DA) in Tshwane is calling for urgent intervention after the ANC government in Tshwane allowed electricity losses to increase by R300 million in just three months, from October to December 2024.
This is in stark contrast with what this government inherited from the DA, where electricity losses were reduced by R162m between July and September.
The financial rescue mission of the City of Tshwane is the most important step towards ensuring quality basic service delivery to all residents of Tshwane. At the core of this financial rescue mission is the City's ability to ensure residents pay for services used.
Not only is the city not billing residents for electricity used, but the ANC government is also not keeping up the same pressure to collect on the city’s debtor’s book.
When the DA was removed from government in September, the city over-collected on its service target with a total of R1.9billion for the first three months of the financial year. This equates to an 28% overcollection, comprised of collection on arrear services debts for the first quarter and a proof of a reduction in the City's debtor’s book. By the end of December the ANC government has reduced this to 22%.
While the City is still seeing an overcollection of R900 million on its overall arrears debt for the first six months of the year, the period for October to December only collected R40 million of arrears debt. This drastic decline in arrear debt collection shows how the efforts of the DA Government to turn the finances of Tshwane around, is slowly waning under the ANC.
We urge the Deputy Mayor and MMC of Finance, Eugene Modise, to not shy away from the difficult decisions needed for financial rescue, but to continue the trend set by the DA to hold residents accountable for their debt to the municipality. This is easily done by settling their accounts in full, making payment arrangements or applying to the affordability committee to have parts of their debt written off so that they can start off on a clean slate and get back into the payment net.

......I feel for our wounded soldiers in DRC.....as our military says that they have no planes to casavac them out.....
....FFS what has happened to our Hercules C130 and 160s.....I flew out of SWA on a casavac C130 late June 1980 during operation Smokeshell with around 60 badly wounded but stabilized troops that were going to 1MIL in PTA...
.....these planes are very old but many similar air frames from that era are still in use all over the globe so what has happened to our fleet now....huh

He must be shitting himself having these foreign visitors and them seeing the shit hole that his Government has caused.
Now he wants to give his employees the heavy message to do the job they should have been doing for years 😢😡

.....we are in what seems to be a political limbo..... but is actually very slow death spiral.....something at sometime has got to give..... instead of them just treading water until an election or an event.....Ramasofa is not capable of bringing about any change to the current situation what so ever....

I just heard him on the radio comparing Addis abbaba to Joburg he says he went there and all the street lights are on and business are thriving and people are falling over each other to invest there because they have made it attractive to do so. Yet he does absolutely the opposite at every single turn and acts surprised at how broken joburg is as if it happened overnight. Now before G20 he will fix everything not for tax payers for a bunch of people who have no interest in what happens here. The DA said they are ready to host in Cpt tomorrow but Rhamposa will never allow that

What does the G20 matter - world order is directed by that guy in the White House
Imo - the NGU (but that raises another matter ito of agreement to do 'what is right') should send the members (ANC government still in power) responsible for the dire Gauteng situation to jail - along with the Free State guys (guys responsible for Estina and other relevant matters) - but there seems to be some snag with that - as we do not hear anything on that matter

The point that our President regards Ethiopia as a role model for SA government employees to strive towards, had to be a concern 😟
