I cannot understand why ,irrespective of their political leanings, that  340 million people would elect
as President a man of either 78 or 82 yearsof age.
Bearing in mind both will be 83 and 87 at end of term respectively.
Surely a Country like USA has younger people for consideration.

 

......signs of the time.....a few weeks ago 2 okes on foot{may have been dropped off earlier)....hurriedly put up ANC signs on the lampposts in the neighborhood.....they used very thin cheap cable ties and the signs not the best quality either.....and a result a majority have slipped down the poles or completely detached.....my dog on walks has attempted to p!ss on them.....but I am cognizant that if I let him....we may be captured on camera and find our way onto Tik Tok or other SM sites and land up being charged for defacing election posters.... as in a recent case where a 64yr old white woman was captured removing an ANC poster nailed to a tree....so Cyril is slipping in the polls....getting nailed....or trying to be pissed on.....

MK sure that Zuma will be President again.

The court says he can't be a member of Parliament. 

How on earth can this man be in such a position of support after selling SA 🤔 

When is his actual court case to be brought to book for the acts he did commit against SA 

I find this coverage insane that he is the "victim " 😒 

......MK support will get a knock as there is no depth in this party and the ANC get to squeeze a few more % points.....Zuma can take up any vacant MK(if they get any) seat in around 18 months time when the 5 year mark expires on his initial conviction....

I hear what you say from a technical sense but should Zuma not be in jail vs running for President. 

OK I guess the States could have the same argument 🙃 

Let me focus on racing. 

thats why rsa is in the shit, the electorate have no idea how democracy works. normal countries use their vote to express satisfaction of the incumbents job performance. our lot vote and and then express their dissatisfaction with the government by burning the country down . changing their vote doesnt occur to them.
eskom is an interesting one. looks like focusing on non performing major stations bringing back actual technicians instead of cadres and cutting theft etc the minister has indeed turned it around - obviously aided by a large drop in demand. which goes to show that this country is still fixable . so. what if this minister takes over health and does an eskom on the health dept , reckon he could sort that too. no drug sheets food etc shortages everything working and no need for nhi. wonder if cyril realises just how badly his mate has shown up the rest of the pathetic cabinet

There was many jokes about power cuts coming back as soon as the votes were done.

Joburg traffic serious disruptions due to power outages. 😢

.....well no matter how the ANC tried to stymie Zuma.....their actions only got him more support.....now the ANC cry foul saying that the voters were confused believing Zuma is still ANC....what a joke keep the rural electorate largely uneducated and they may well be confused....but the ANC shot themselves in the foot with NHI as the growing aspirant ANC employed middle class with the help of BEE policy.... mostly have medical aid.....and did not bother to vote.....
.....Zuma an ace in Stalingrad tactics now wants to stall the results by asking for a recount so that he can bring more pressure on the ANC to allow him back into National government by getting them to oust Ramasofa and allowing him bring back some of his looting comrades...an alliance with the DA and their coalition partners is problematic as they dont want to let go of the NHI..... 

Don't trust anyone with their back against the wall 

We might find that ANC and Zuma all get back together and continue to destroy SA 😡

That is a terrifying possibility. We are all punting anc da but anc mk eff also beats 50%. If this is the election of ethnicity and tribalism anc more likely to embrace mk and eff than da so heaven help us

As if the political situation was not bad enough, we now have extreme weather conditions .
