*MOOIKLOOF WATER OUTAGE 08/09/23 07:31*

Good morning residents,

Despite the City of Tshwane officials having an engagement with Randwater to divert and throttle water from Bronberg to Mooikloof, this didn't take place and there's been absolutely no recovery. On top of this there's hardly anything coming in from Vlakfontein to feed the overall system in Pretoria East.

In my daily feedback report on the water crisis group I've listed Mooikloof Reservoir as having no water still.

I've again requested tankers for Wilds, Woodhill and Mat Street Estates this morning.

I'll also be having an interview with eNCA to talk about our problems with water in the East.

When new information becomes available, I'll be sure to share as soon as possible.

Your ward councillor,

Malcolm De Klerk

....W(ho)TF knows.....the schedule was announced only early on Sunday so the coal was not wet yet.... .....but we have some slots where we supposed to have been cut but were not.....fyi the solar capacity at this point in time is estimated to less than 2% of total power generation .... ...there is something very fishy about the sudden increased loadshedding announcement besides the coincidence with the Rugby.... as it is also timed to happen with the Karpowership deal/s green light for Richards Bay....there are more herrings at ESKOM than in Denmark....and that ANC communist Coalman pulling all strings there is dirtier than the diesel deals....it stinks to high heaven.....

Listening to the medium term budget...they'll probably congratulate themselves by going out to have a big fat dinner tonight...no tightening of the belts for the politburo...

I remember reading some time back that public debt as at 1993 was about R400 billion...it's now over R4 trillion such that interest on debt is over R300 billion annually...how much of the increase was spent on improving the country and how much was pilfered to increase their waist-lines while millions don't even have a meal every day?

Hi guys this thread has not been used for a while .
don't we have fears and thoughts as we wait for Cyril and the state of nation address
could be the normal fiasco .......

Hope we are registered to vote?
It's not really a case of voting for who I love but who I hate with the current state of affairs.

crime, corruption, electricity,  water, service delivery,  job creation
if anything all getting worse

2024 another challenging year for the world it seems.
USA have Trump, Biden, Southern Border, 34 Trillion national debt, Iran Middle east tensions.
China want to invade Taiwan, housing market crisis and population stagnation
India Votes again
UK votes . North African migrant crisis, Islamic anger. Inflation
EU votes massive surge of right wing against muslim and north african illegal migrants
Russia/Ukraine just drags on and people keep dying for a madmans wet dream
Israel and Gaza. Watch a 1998 move called The Siege starring Denzel Washington. 26 years later and nothing has changed. ANC thugs pulled masterstroke with the ICJ but wont save lives and wont change anything in the region
Africa just a hot mess.
South Africa votes possibly 22 May 2024 but what will change. ANC seem to have the upper hand. The opposition parties are like cats with a red lazer pointer.
SONA will be a joke. EFF have had 6 members banned and the remaining ones will either boycott or stir until getting thrown out. Cyril will waffle about all ANC 30 year achievements and praise his cabinet. Ignoring 40% unemployment, bankrupt treasury, corrupt officials , collapsed municipalities, violence at civil war levels.
And us the citizens we getting smashed with food inflation, illegal migrants swamping our areas.
Luckily we have Horse racing and EPL soccer to distract us.

Yes it is a dismal picture the world over

For all the optimism on the 'youth' registering to vote in SA, nobody knows if the people that registered will actually turn up to vote; indications are that the ANC's national percentage will slip below 50% - but not sure how that will impact the 'man in the street' - best possible scenario (for me living in Gauteng) is that the 'multi-party coalition' get enough votes to rule Gauteng - and even that will create a host of other problems.

As a South African, many people are voting with their feet - but where would you go - and how can one afford it

Well Cyril has spoken and everything OK

State capture was R14 Billion and  R8.6 Billion under investigation .

Rand stays same as nothing really said.

We had good rain last night .

Be happy 😊
